Varagu Aval
Ingredients
: 1 cup Varagu Aval (Kodo Millet Flakes)
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews)
1/4 cup jaggery
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
2 tablespoons ghee A pinch of salt
Preparation: Rinse Varagu Aval under cold water and drain excess water. In a pan, heat ghee, add chopped nuts, and roast until golden. Add Varagu Aval and stir well on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Add grated coconut, jaggery, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until jaggery melts, and the ingredients blend.
